Dr Kachun has co-edited a novel written by whom many believe is the first African-American female novelist, Julia C. Collins, who was a resident of Williamsport. |

| Children’s Art Exhibit The second Gifted Youth Art Exhibit will be presented as a result of 5 art workshops preceding the event. The workshops involved a mentoring program and art instruction provided by area professionals, Jackie Thomas, fibers artist; Seth Goodman, Associate Art Professor at Lycoming College; Eve Archer, retired art instructor and Way’s Garden Art Show Founder; and Rev. Marwin Reeves, Treatment Specialist for USP Lewisburg. Six art students from Lycoming College also volunteered their time. |

| Val Taylor’s Expressions Expressions was established in 1980. Valorie Taylor has been mentoring young people for over 25 years. She is a choreographer of numerous dance style – incorporating modern, jazz, hip-hop with a hint of gymnastics. They won 1st place in the Mummers Parade in 2005 and they have been gracing the Juneteenth Celebration stage for 6 years. Please welcome Expressions. |

Minister Dawn sang in the Rotunda at the capitol for Governor Tom Ridge and several senators, and now serves at The Church of Jesus Christ of Williamsport. |
